My classes are all about loving movement, creating space in the body, and finding some calm in the mind.

You do not need to be flexible to do yoga! Anyone can ‘do yoga’ just by moving with the breath and enjoying movement.

About Emma

I was first introduced to yoga 20 years ago and I was blown away. That bit (savasana) at the end of class where you get to have a nice little lie down and shut your eyes? Mind-blowing!

Yoga was particularly to me as I navigated pregnancy and post partum with two kids. I felt alien and uncomfortable in my body, couldn’t do as much and learned how valuable it is to slow down, connect with the breath and enjoy a new form of movement.

I’ve since completed my Level 3 Yoga Teaching Diploma, as well as a Level 2 Exercise to Music and Les Mills BodyBalance. This has also enabled me to teach BodyBalance, yoga and freestyle holistic and dance fitness classes at a range of gyms in Bristol, including Nuffield Health, Village Gym, Everyone Active and The Greenway Centre.

I practice now to find some calm, have a good stretch and become more present. I think you take from it what you need. Need a lie down? Feel free to stay still on your mat. Need to take it easy? Come down into child’s pose regularly, take easier options and listen to what your body is telling you. Need to move and fire yourself up? Be my guest with strong core moves, challenging balances and twists and faster moving flows. There’s something for everyone!
